Wash Experiences Impressive Revenue Growth with Unlimited Wash Plans
This is the story of how a Midwest exterior wash used monthly unlimited wash plans to increase their revenue by $285,000 from December 2015 – November 2016.
Announced as a grand reopening, the wash had added two XPT®s, FastPass® RFID solution and the Automatic Recharge Module®. The first month they saw an increase in their monthly revenue by $25,000 over the previous year. The second month saw an increase of $69,000, and the third month a whopping $95,000 increase.
Onsite the day of the opening staff was on hand to assist customers with the new equipment and most importantly to sell the monthly plans. The site added a colorful new menu board and had abundant signage throughout the site promoting their monthly plans.
This is where the magic happened. Monthly plans were sold for two times more than the cost of a single wash. What a great deal for the customer – they only had to visit twice to get their money’s worth.
It turned out to be an even better deal for the wash. Because their monthly plans were so aggressively priced, everyone wanted to join the plan. The first month of business saw 118 new plans, the second month 331 new plans. In a year and a half, monthly plan enrollment has grown to 1,772. Not only are customers seeing tremendous value, they are also having a great customer experience because their cars are running through the wash process seamlessly and coming out shiny and clean.
